Of all the movies out there, what actor got to play himself!!!! Most movies are made after one passes!!! Or maybe to old to play the part!!! Sometimes you might get a cameo or a recognition if still alive!!! Lou Gehrig - Pride of the Yankees (Gary Cooper), Sergeant York (Gary Cooper), Jesse Owens Story (Dorian Harewood), Miracle - hockey team finally winning gold - real coach Herb Brooks played by Kurt Russell - real coach passed when movie was released, another great movie "Go For Broke" about the Japanese in Hawaii!!! My Uncle (I'm proud to say fought in that war but sad to said didn't make it back), etc!!! Just a few to mention!!! So To Hell and Back with Mr Audie Murphy playing his own part WOW!!! But he still died to soon and it wasn't the war!!!☹️
