Watched very little television as a child, but loved this show. There was much singing and crazy characters. It was always upbeat. I remember watching it prior to catching the kindergarten bus and even had the record album of the show which I played for my own children in the '80s. Unfortunately I lent it out to a school and they lost it! Definitely one of my all-time favorites.

I absolutely loved this book! I picked it up at my favorite indie bookstore as I have had a charm bracelet since second grade. My bracelet is almost full and each charm has a story. Just like my charms, Lolly's bracelet has many charms gathered through the years. Each charm not only has a story, but a life lesson. I was blown away by the voices of the three characters. Their stories and characters were so alive and spoke in voices that are representative of the ages of the women. While I could not put it down, I hated for the story to end. So very satisfying. It was exactly what I needed during this pandemic. While I have lost my mother, she came alive for me again in Lolly's character, which is truly a gift. The themes of the book are so apropos and gave me pause to reflect on where my life is going. Bravo- Just ordered The Hope Chest as this author is stupendous.Very excited about my afternoon of reading the next book. If it is half as good as The Charm Bracelet, I am in for a very large treat! Cannot recommend this book enough
