Firstly I also read the reviews of this film and found they were just criticising it, but being a marvel fan I had to watch this film. When I came out of theatre I realized all those reviews weren't true. It was such a good movie with great visual effects. It's a very different superhero origin story. And at the end things get the best when you get see Captain Marvel in her full glory. People are just criticising it for a formal l female lead character. You should definitely go and watch it of you are a true marvel fan. And don't forget to watch the 2 post credit scenes because that's very comforting.
