The movie has a very gripping and solid plot. The protagonist uses a lot of witty moves, the movement of the story and the imagination are very well done.
However, as the story unravels, it ends into a very pale, distasteful, powerless ending. The villains are not as strong as could have been. The cop does many questionable, out-of-law actions and still gets promoted, the characters are way too emotional and sentimental, with the angry young man feel to the lead character for no use at all. The story ends up in a loop of coincidences which was absolutely not required and was way too filmy.
They could have dealt with the ending in a much more calculated and brilliant way.
As a mother, except the bits of action, I did not have trouble with my kids walking in and out of the room because the movie is very neat and clean. Yes, action scenes can be upsetting for some children and some not, but no nudity, romantic angle, etc etc.
Good watch.
