The idea is phenomenal and well thought out, but the writing, oh god the writing. The worst trope is one where people do what they normally wouldn't do, or delay normal action, for plot purposes. This movie is full of moments like this when people will not respond to one another purely for plot, people don't intervene purely for plot, people take much more time than normal to make a judgement call purely for plot. A more streamlined writing structure and this movie would top my sci-fi listings.
