I mentioned it to some friends, without exception, all of them turned against me. It is like talking about Muhammad or Jesus. Open minded people are extinct. Anyway the film is convincing. and i still love Michael's Music.

An Argentinian movie that show mundane realities e.g. Slow summer days, the virgin Marie visions by local Indians, The cohabitation between rich and poor.. All in an extraordinary cinematographic envelope.
A Finnish film that show how conservative the people in Finland are, like us (in north africa) and how they find it difficult to showcase emotions. funny and very emotionally charged!

Set in the 1070s. Before watching it I had the wrong impression that Switzerland was from the first countries in human/women's rights, turned out that afghan women had the right to vote before Swiss women.
The difference was that Switzerland had a really democratic system.
At the end they get their voting rights through a general referendum like everything else in this country. Not through violence like in Afghanistan!

This movie is not politically correct, if a feminist sees this movie now, her/his head will probably explode. fascinating movie, conflicting emotions in a beautiful Italian style.
