If you can find the English dubbed copy. Usually through seedier internet searching. The movie reminds me a lot like the Russian movie series Day Watch and Night Watch. They share that Ruski type of humor and light heartedness. The special effects are well done and the story is pretty original. The acting and character buildup is left wanting. A good Russian alternative I just located dubbed in English is Invasion (Attraction 2). It is very well done with plenty of amazing scenes.
