I tried posting this review twice on the Emily Ley website, but it doesn’t get published… I’m guessing because it is less than 5 stars. I was gifted a Simplified Planner in Carolina Gingham for Christmas. The layout is great, I enjoy the layout of the daily pages. The reason I am giving this 3 stars is that for a $60.00 planner I did not expect the pages to be thin. My old planner from Michael’s has thicker pages and no pen ghosting or bleeding. No matter which pen I use there is ghosting on the pages, I wouldn’t be surprised if certain pens did bleed through. I can see this making the pages hard to read as the planner gets filled. The planner coil also doesn’t feel like the sturdiest. Like I said, functional and a good layout but not worth the price.
