Something I felt:
Kappela is definitely not a modern, progressive movie. But it doesn't take a stand on what is right or wrong. It comes with a neutral packaging. It stands simply as an unbiased portrayal of an event that can happen. This intent is very clear from the bgm work of Sushin Shyam, which never glorifies any event in the movie, and the grey shade given to all characters (especially Bhasi's). An unbiased mind viewing the film will not adore any character or his/her acts completely; especially Bhasi's, though many after watching the movie did so(subjective difference). The take aways from the movie solely depend on the viewers' mindset and what they infer from it. The choices that characters make are true to their nature and hence justifiable.
