I am giving this 5 stars because it is excellent that the Bible is getting attention, especially 'end times' in this day and age. The acting was nice, and pretty well done; the movie itself wasn't bad visually, even 8 years later, and is a mediocre horror movie (as labeled) at best.
That being said, this is not even remotely close to Biblical Accuracy, this is more akin to the Fiction of the Noah movie made recently. Hopefully, however, it serves to open the eyes of the blind to the reality that is truly coming, and it will be far worse than this movie depicts and last FAR, FAR longer.
Christian's will indeed be removed from Earth before the worst begins, so at least they got that part right. Unfortunately there are a lot of Christians who believe differently, but have to basis for their argument, entirely too many scriptures point to the faithful being removed before the rise of evil. Simply saying 'rapture' isn't a word in the Bible, does not mean that we will not be removed ahead of the tribulation. To Christians reading this and are confused, what good what it do for the Lord to leave his most faithful here when those on the fence may need a sign.
