Astoria Elizabeth

It was long but definitely worth it. Acting, score, and editing were all amazing. The story was extremely moving, nuanced, and important. A considerate look at a part of our history that isn't talked about enough. Best part was the character of Mollie at the heart of the story. The only thing I didn't like was the gratuitous gore; it felt like an exploitation of the horrors the Osage suffered for shock value.

The movie was both funny and revelatory. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an amazing actor and the movie frankly depicts the realities of marriage.

A very powerful movie. Adam Driver is superb. A insightful look at recent history with an important message. The horrors of others do not justify our atrocities. It is vital that we recognize our downfalls in order to make sure something like this will never happen again.
