This looked so promising but I stopped watching the moment animal cruelty comes into the scene. Harming animals in the name of entertainment is horrific, even if it is just staged harm. Why would I want to see cats being killed and their blood sucked? So I read the synopsis just to find that the big pet dog, owned by the town drunk, will also be killed. No thanks. I think a clever writer, director, and producer could create a script, and following series without these cheap tricks. Confine cruelty from humans...to humans!
