This game has Tenchu lineage in it's blood and that's a good thing. The combat, while a very challenging and fluid affair is not the only means to take out the eenemies presented to you in this huge yet dense action adventure/stealth game.
THIS IS NOT DARK SOULS. Just because you have played that series or Bloodborne doesn't not mean the same mechanics and principles apply. This is a stealth action game where running away and finding ambush and vantage point to whittle down the enemies numbers rewards you more than swinging your sword till things die. This game rewards patience alot more than brazen fighting ability.
As a lover of the stealth genre it's painful tio watch players stand on the top of a building with a huge vantage point that allows you to scope out the area and plan you attack just jump into the middle of four to five enemies yelling that the game is too hard.
There's more than one way to play this game.
I'd definitely recommend it to stealth action playersand fans , not to casual Souls fans.
