Playing through the entire Halo series for the first time with a friend. Without the nostalgia in our brains this is easily one of the worst games we’ve ever played. Even taking into consideration that it’s an older game, there were much better games than this in 2001. Horrible boring story, endless boring hallways. It was literally mind-numbing to play through this.

I was a little skeptic at first when buying this game but I just finished it and man was it an experience. This game gives you the brutal reality of an apocalyptic world. You may hate it, you may love it, but it’s real and upsetting. If you expect a happy ending where the good guys win and the bad guys lose then you are naive. There is no black and white situation. This game is a true art piece. However there some negatives. Sometimes you’d expect the game to end and it was very long and drawn out but after finishing it I do sort of understand why Naughty Dog did what they did.
In the end I give it 4 stars, for stunning graphics and an artwork of a story. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it’d never be able to top the original.
