I’ve watched the first 5 episodes of NCIS Origins and am very disappointed in the show. Several of the plot lines have made little sense. Franks, instead of being an inspirational leader, is out of control much of the time. Gibbs is very little like Gibbs. There is none of his irony or intelligence. He just kind of either does nothing or goes out of control too. Only Lala is interesting. There’s a lot of characters not answering questions and going off half cocked. I’ll give it a few more episodes.

I have to confess I don’t like 2 kinds of comedy: 1) the typical sitcom in which allegedly intelligent people act as stupidly as possible, and 2) people being neurotic all over each other. Neither is funny. Here Anna is okay. Matt is insufferable with his constant neurosing. I’m amazed Anna doesn’t kill him. I also have to confess I could if get all the way through because I couldn’t stand him any more. Shame because the premise could work.
