Do we really need a book to make us realise the sacrifices of a mother? Maybe, yes.
I don't like the style of writing, the narration, it was uncomfortable, its like the story is being forced on you. One thing everybody needs to realise though that aur parents are people too, they are a person first, then our parents, kids always forget that mom was a girl too, and dad was a boy too, and they still are.

Just because their timing was not right doesn't make a good work, a bad one. No matter who says what but this movie talks about a very sensitive issue, it shows the difference between conviction and superstition beautifully. Although I expect better acting from Alia Bhatt.
It starts as a dark movie, and ends up leading you to light.

The trailer does no justice to what the show actually is. Its brilliant, well rehearsed, amazing acting by each and everyone, simple yet mesmerizing plot. The hard work and research required into its making can be seen clearly. One of the most detailed, researched and entertaining show India has ever produced. Its not just a love story, its a life story, we all make mistakes, even the people we respect the most, the people we think are perfect. No words can justify the experience this show gives. A must watch. One is bound to fall for Indian classical music after watching this show. Huge respect for the writer, the creative team, the research team, the actors and kudos to each and everyone involved in this epic. Thanks for giving Bandish Bandits to the world.

Not her best work. Intriguing as usual, but the end was a little obvious. Besides some of the things are not very clear about the story. Like why would the three sisters become hostess to someone's friend because of whose son there daughter (like) died. And everything that she was looking for almost always came up to herself on its own, maybe it was because of her guardian angel.
