Can someone help me? The movie was good until the scene when Grace hit her husband with the bat. Then the movie seemed to go down hill for me. I am confused.

Tiffany was too ghetto for me. I felt like she had to portray herself like that to make it in hollyweid. The movie did not get my attention in the beginning and I was soo bored seeing a young black lady trying hard to make it no matter what kind of example. Yes I realized it was supposed to be a comedy. Tiffany's role did not give her no points with me. Whoopi was good and Chris Rock helped to add some favor to the movie. I give it a 3 out of 10 and I am being nice because I feel like it was a movie put together to make some quick cash for the holidays.
