I highly recommend all book lovers to give this one a try! Echoes of Laughter is a story, through its wise and courageous characters has taught me how to channel that power into myself. As an Afghan-Canadian woman who has struggled in similar and in different wats as the girls in this novel, I appreciate Weeda for honestly conveying the struggles women in Afghanistan go through. I believe that this topic was approached with much sensitivity and care. Kudos to Weeda for writing such a heartfelt story from an author that is authentic and real. 12/12!
