I heard a lot of good comments about the show and held high expectations before I watch it. But I have to say I’m quite disappointed. A lot of plots are just not convincing. Especially the Eve character. I use to like Sandra Oh for her performance in Grey’s Anatomy, but I think she couldn’t shake off her old character, so half of the time I felt I’m still watching Christina, but without her charisma. The attraction btw the two main characters is not selling, because It is just very hard to comprehend that Villanelle would fall to Eve, whose intelligence is not there consistent ,lack of control of herself, acting badly to her husband without good cause, and have a bad sense of clothes. I love a lot of BBC dramas, Line of Duty, Endeavour , Luther, State of play...but not this one. Don’t think I’ll watch season 2. One positive thing of the show is Jodie Comer, her acting was brilliant.
