Listen to this submission by AV on a high end system - and maybe with large responsive flat-panel speakers. It’s quite flabbergasting. This album was a bit early for the first New Age Grammy - 2 yrs prior. Altho AV’s ‘Down to the Moon’ won the 1st New Age Grammy in 1986, ‘White Winds’ is much more memorable, engulfing, and satisfying work of art. It my judge-mental view.

This movie is most likely about Hollywood trying to penetrate the Asian marketplace. No way to believe this preposterous storyline and multiple stupid acting roles received any awards - much less an Oscar. Are we supposed to accept this movie as representing anything that could possibly happen in real life. On any continent?

One of the stupidest movie endings ever witnessed. And we invested 2 full hrs in this muddled preposterous mess. Film noir?? Film literally nowhere!! The positives below are also lost in time…. Did we all watch the same movie?

It is an extremely tedious and plot-lost historical ‘blockbuster’. Any rising action subsides almost immediately. Stone and his script editors, whoever/wherever they may have been, drop unnecessary Ancient Greek names more readily than those insipid, cloying Hollywood movie reviewers on your local TV station. And we are supposed to sit thru this entire film - really?? Finally, it’s no wonder this DVD ends up in the $1 discount bin at the big box stores…
