Miles Lemkin

The 2019 Midway movie is far inferior to the 1976 Midway movie. The male actors in the 2019 film lack the gravitas of Heston and Fonda et al in the 1976 version and the battles in the 2019 version look phony and suitable for a science fiction movie. I give it three thumbs down!!

Many People reviewing this movie are taking it too seriously. It’s a fun, slapstick comedy featuring Carmen Diaz and Christine Applegate at their comic best. Very simple.
