Highly entertaining. It's a fitting end to the DCEU, and paves the way for the DCU.

A fun, adult-oriented movie featuring repurposed supervillains, Gunn, et al. really put a lot of effort into this film.

The Snyder cut. While many may decry the film for its expectedly dark tone, it should be remembered that the mood had been established as far back as The Dark Knight. Yes, DC may be the the stoic goth between the two major comicbook studios, but DC had already gone through the lighthearted hero path in Superman the Movie, a flick which Marvel itself has admitted to emulating. Suffice it to say that JL the Snyder cut is the culmination of the director's vision for the DCEU at the time of his logging onto the studio. It will not disappoint those who prefer their comicbook films to carry a bit more gore along with the grandiosity.
