The show touches so many chords at so many levels....it's smooth yet full of the sharp turns for the main protagonist and how she is trying to make sense of how and why did she landed in such a mess and still managing to hold moral principles and trying to figure out how to make just simple things to work.
The episodes gets the viewer to think and I repeat again 'deeply THINK' about how society views abused women and if they are poor all and all it must be their own fault for landing in such position.
The lead actress has done an amazing work along with her real life mother. The character was also meant to show lack of judgment by inviting a guy on a house where she works, which I guess was the story writer's way of telling that she did not have enough clarity WHICH she eventually gains in the end and break frees of the emotional abuse.
The lead actress tries to break the cycle of psychological abuse and gives many chances to herself and her partner but she realizes she has to find the way within and navigate the world for her daughter-
who is literally so cute as I have a 2.9 month girl I can relate on so many levels.
A must watch..enjoy!
