Canadians move to the UK so son has a chance to play hockey?! Ooookay. So let’s assume that I can suspend disbelief on that for a moment... but then we have the rest of the family (who are not even remotely culturally Canadian) reminiscing about home. The dad misses the “real wind” in Canada of the warm Chinooks coming off the mountains (probably Calgary) while the sister’s skating partner lives in Toronto...cities that are over 3,000km apart. Whoever wrote this needs to get a clue about Canada to make the show even remotely believable, let alone the deadly dull script and one-dimensional characterization. Not even worth watching for the skating, which is... fine... at best.
