I do not understand why this movie is even on Netflix.
I'm like back in the 90s because of the visual effects.
There are jump scares but the movie itself is not scary.
I know that this movie is largely based on Filipino folklore but rubbing one's saliva on another person's face to purge them of "evil entities" is not so appealing in a movie. I also didn't realize that throwing salt to a possessed person would even harm or tame them. These are children's stories and old wives' tales. This movie is therefore not for matured audiences.
The story is also very typical and predictable. The main character who started as a spoiled brat suddenly became kind and concerned with other insignificant individuals at the end of the movie.
I would like to commend the child actress though for her amazing performance.

This is my all-time favorite show! I believe that True Blood is underrated. I even find this show more interesting than Twilight because it has more depth, creativity, flare and twists in its storyline. The series showcased drama, comedy and action. I love the fact that there is always a villain in every season that seems impossible to defeat. Yet the writers are always too good to device a creative way for the main characters to triumph in the end.
Most of all, I love that both the actor and actress of Bill and Sookie got married together in real life!

I got bored. The story runs sooo slow. I am watching Netflix to entertain myself and not to add more frustrations to my life. Lol. The series gives me a very sad vibe, ‘cause they are all trapped in this small, spooky town where kids are gone missing. You want to watch this show? You gotta be PATIENT. I like thrill, suspense and adventure, and this isn’t it. There maybe some mysteries and jump scares every now and then but in between, the scenes are very plain and dead. I was hoping that the storyline would be interesting, but the show really runs so slow. The main dilemma is someone is missing, then what? The series will flash something that is not related to the main problem to keep the story loong and boring.

I like the thrills brought by the main story. However, the level of suspense drops as there are scenes where the main characters meet up and tell stories that are super unreal (e.g. there’s a topic about sci-fi). It kinda ruins the mood. And I’ve expected these series to lean more on the horror side like how they made the “Haunting of Bly Manor”. They should have just focused on the main story line, with the cults and the mystery behind the hospice. The short stories,
on the other hand, are not for someone who’s looking for a horror show. I wasted my time waiting for the climax and yeah I got bored 😂

Thank God there’s a series about LGBTQ that is not all about sex, lust, drugs and cheating. We are always being portrayed as the bad guys who always do things out of the social norm. Gays can love with commitment, loyalty and purity too. We also have a right to have a long-lasting relationship with a partner like straights do. Gays can be Christians too. Being gay is not a sin as what others always suggest. God is creative and loves variation. That’s why there are so many types of sexuality. It’s nothing to be ashamed of if you are “different”. I’m really thankful for this series! It makes me accept myself as who I really am. Believe me, I’ve tried changing myself because of the pressures I receive from our society. I got depressed eventually for the fact that I’ve been repressing my true identity for a very long time. So I’m really thankful for these kinds of films because it helps other people understand our feelings, emotions hurts and frustrations of being wanted to be “accepted”

Wonderful series! The scenes and twists always give me excitement. I really love the way they’ve fused the modern world with the 16th century. Also, there is drama, comedy, action and romance. I highly recommend this series!

This series definitely spreads awareness regarding injustice and child abuse. It is a piece of history that I will never forget, thanks to the efforts of its creators and the researchers involved in it. I admire the women who survived the abuse. May they have a good life ahead of them.
