Biggest letdown I have ever experienced in any video game. I waited for 7 years just to be severely disappointed. I don't think it's ever been so painful for me to try and play through a game because of how much I hated where it was going. Ellie and Joel were the two characters that made the first game so great. The flashbacks in the game were probably more enjoyable than anything else. I get they didn't want to just mimic what the first game was with the same characters but man, why drag Joel in, why was the writing so lazy. Kind of regret buying this game myself should've just watched a playthrough and save my money.
