Wow, what a movie.. The premise itself is wonderful with good songs, good BGM and performances. I am very happy to see such gems coming from Kannada industry rather than KGFs, Kabzaas and Martins. I look forward to see more of this. I think the movie s climax will stay with me for some time, haunting and saddening me Not just this one, I did watch few other Kannada movies recently which was of good content, although not upto this one's level

There is nothing new about this. but still the movie is engaging. Jayam Ravi, gives a good performance as Thilagan. The overall plot is engaging enough for a home watch. I sincerely wish Tamil movie makers stop playing the comedy track by Yogi babu beyond a limit. Even if tamilians are enjoying it, please understand that its bringing down the overall standarrd of the movie. You really cant mock police like that. Apart from that, the movie is certainly a one time watch

Ambili - due to its emotions and music has become one of my favorites. I am not patient enough to write a full review, but still, I would like to disagree with many others on a point. And thats about Shoubin. I would not aprreciate his performance as extra ordinary for 95% of his screen presense. Those of you who would ve seen him in many other movies, would realize, that his body language showcased in this movie is nothing but himself. Thats how he has been in almost all movies - probably expect Kammattipadam and Kumbalangi nights. In spite of that, there are few moments, like the final one, wherein the music and his expressions fill your heart and eyes. I saw one negative review about the movie here, I have nothing to say, please watch what you like!!!!!!!! We started making pulimurgan and pokkira rajas hits because Ambilis were not coming up frequently. As a review, I would like to point out that, Johnpaul George - Vishnu Vijay are following a templated movie making approach, which will not work out in the long run.
