Some story lines go on a bit to long, as if they haven't been able to decide what or how things will turn out in the end. Maybe too, because it only last a half hour multi plots within the story line aren't possible. Currently there is what many are calling "baby gate" it seems Ridge saw a suitcase full of money that Taylor had. That fact didn't raise any suspicions? Now there are six people who know what the Dr. did with Hopes baby. It is almost as if the writers are being cruel to all of us by not having the truth come out.
