happy to report my initial impressions: -Graphics are awesome (no surprise) -If you have played any of the THPS games (even the third which is what I primarily played) you’re going to be able to almost immediately pick up and play -The soundtrack you guys...my angsty, long hair teenager exploded from the deep psychosis it had long been buried and forgotten once the first songs played lol -Probably my only nit pick (and extreme nit pick it is) As fun as the first two games are, It reminded me how I REALLY preferred the semi open world THPS 3 was (and how it was a mix of timed challenges and infinite mini missions) not to mention the cheats were what made the third game stand out above the rest (you know you played as boba fett with disco and moon gravity modes on lol). All around though, if you’re nostalgic, enjoy the rather mindless fun THPS offers, and probably most obviously, if you enjoyed playing THPS, I would say this is worth the $40

Good aspects: -the game’s visuals are Absolutely incredible. The forest setting is stunning and there’s just so much details to explore and see. -if you’re a fan of ‘point and click’/telltale/chose your adventure style games you’ll enjoy this game. -as of this post, it’s without a doubt one of the more ‘dialogue driven’ games I’ve ever played and it was very refreshing. Much more character development than a lot of games out on the market. -I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Henry and his interactions with Delilah. The character development between the two is deep, thought provoking and very emotional at times (as well as amusing). - Great soundtrack. Bad Aspects: -Majority of gamers and reviewers complaints about this game is with the ending and I think more specifically the ‘twist’; I can definitely understand individuals disappointment with the twist as while the developers did a fantastic job of building the suspense and the feeling you were about to walk into a world of ****, the ultimate climax was rather flat. The very end though I didn’t have a problem with as I think if you truly embraced the role of Henry and being him and understanding what he has gone through then you knew there was no other way it could end. -Was not a huge fan of the dialogue controls (felt rather clunky) -There were moments of some minor visual glitches and animations but at one point the world literally became blurry (almost like Henry had developed cataracts or became near sighted lol). I ultimately had to close the game and load it back up to get it to stop. -Would’ve loved to have had just a LITTLE BIT more to the game as I felt like this game was rather short. The developer commentary was interesting and there is a free roam to explore the whole forest, but still would’ve been great to have had some side missions and other Easter eggs to add some depth to the game. Score: 8/10 All in all though, still thought this was a great game; While the climax was rather “anti-climatic, the developers still did a solid job of telling a great Story many of us can relate to and the presentation style is one that’s unique from other games: You will NOT like this game if you’re looking with a lot of fast paced action. This is very much a A game that’s methodical And is focused on character and plot development, not action.
