You would be hard pressed to find a bigger Daniel Craig 007 fan than I. That said, this is the absolute worst of all of his 007 films. It tries to accomplish too much, has precious few Bond “light moments,” has “shoot ‘em ups’ ad nauseam, and has such an “oh-so-not James Bond” ending that I left the theater in disbelief. I could continue my rant, but I am just too disappointed to say more. His Bond character deserved better. “Casino Royale” was nearly perfect, and “Skyfall” was stunning. “Quantum of Solace” and “Spectre” we’re both good, but this last effort just totally misses the mark.
