If honest, rather dated and overhyped. The dialogue is quite witty but self consciously so. Quite funny to see how social attitudes have changed (particularly to women) and the use of incidental music is very clunky. Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint are engaging but the rest of the cast are very obvious and wooden. Plot is overworked and a series of poorly linked set pieces. Incidentally I saw the same footage of the train passing a lake used 4 times. So amusing in bits but overlong and very dated. One for observers of cinematic history.
