1st things first The people bombing this thing at 1 Star are just following the rest of the angry misinformed crowd. There was over 3000 1 Star reviews only a few hours after the game was released. The campaign alone is 25+ hours long, so the majority of people here are just rating it horribly because the wanna be like everyone else and be edgy. This game is an absolute MASTERPIECE so far. Granted I’m only about 10 hours in - but naughty dog literally took everything great about the 1st game mechanics/combat, and graphics and made it all about 10 million times more amazing. The combat is engaging and thrilling; the escape systems are absolutely terrifying; and the crafting is so much better than the first game. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the music/score is spot on for the different tones and moods of each scene. Now as far as the Story goes and all the issues people have SPOILERS Now I was pretty sad when Joel died. Dude got his head crushed in right in front of Ellie - and you felt her anger and sadness and it was so raw and emotional. It sucked but we all knew Joel was a jack*** in the previous game and did anything he could to survive. It was sad but doesn’t kill the game like everyone claims. Joel had his story and this is Ellie’s. The flashbacks to Joel and Ellie together though are AMAZING. The whole museum scene was incredible A few annoying parts with naughty dog trying to shove their stupid SJW stuff down your throats, but it’s not as awful as people pretend it is. This game absolutely 100% a must play. Don’t listen to the haters out there. They’re all angry sheep living in there parents basementS Buy this game. Play it with an open mind and I GUARANTEE you will love this game. It’s just as good as the first, if not better
