I love the modern day touch of this movie, the message is clear in what the director wanted to get across. Honestly I would highly recommend this film, it is a must see the aesthetic of this film is spectacular. Watching this film you feel like your actually watching someone’s life past as third eye view which I do not think many films capture in the modern day, this film is very raw and real which I adore.
However I do feel like in some scenes more dialogue could’ve been explored for example Sebastian Stan is more than a capable of an actor but I feel as if he was snubbed of having more of a deeper connected part in the film by not having more dialogue. Although I can feel every emotion being expressed by Sebastian I just feel sometimes words are needed to express the deeper connection between Frank and Daphne.
The aesthetic taste of this movie is beautiful and I think the director got every camera angle correct by capturing the actors emotions, more movies need to be made like this for the younger generation as this isn’t a generic hollywood romantic film, it’s much more than that and brings real life problems that the viewers can relate to.
