I loved the book.. I remember being very skeptical how much I will connect with the story when the protagonist is snow whose fate we know and love to hate.. but I was really rooting for him and connected with his thought process.. only part I failed to connect with is the transformation he has regarding his take on the role of capital and hunger games.. otherwise the story was very gripping and engaging.. Really loved the character Lucy gray.. I love how the author kept her so mystic as she was for snow.. would love to know more about her.. district 12 references were great addition.. we finally know the origin of hanging tree and the lake comes here too.. it makes me realize why snow was so moved by katniss.. it's poetic how his history with district 12 came crushing down on him 65 years later..
