When Burt Lancaster made his first movie ( The Killers) he was nominated for a academy awards! Burt Lancaster has a presence that just pierce through the screen. He was rewarded with said award for Elmer Gantry (which is a another gem)! This movie ( The Train ) is a movie that takes into the action at every level. This is the kind of movie that gets you thinking and appreciate the relative safety that these men fought to secure for us. A winner on all counts!
