This takes the realist approach to the superhero genre and strips down the squeaky clean image of being a superhero. They deal with domestic abuse, sexual assault, wrongful death, love, hate, revenge, and all this is just from being a superhero. The best thing about this series is you could enjoy it, even if you don’t like heroes, because in this show, the heroes are the bad guys.
