This is a strange film. Very old fashion in technique.The camera angles seem very amateur with long pauses between lines although only one camera has been used, poorly. However it’s a wonderful cast of old pros.

Wonderfully black humour, Fantastic acting. Theo James surely is a prime candidate for the next James Bond!

At last a funny, intelligent comedy. Ron Livingston was made for the title role.

The new series has far more depth of story than the original 60s series . Acting excellent overall & Dr Smith very much darker. Love the little references tributes to the old series. Appearance of Billy Mumy as the real Dr Smith, The real surname of Dr Smith is Harris. And of course in the original the character was played by Jonathan Harris. The robot is far more enigmatic than in the original . And of course the production values are excellent.

Despite the film’s age it continues to move me like no other. Be it the flawless performance by James Stewart . Scenes of despair, heroism & appreciation of what is truly good in life. Possibly the greatest scene of two people recognising the love that exists between them is in this film.
