loved this show when I was younger but a lot of the jokes went over my head. I have been watching on Peacock and its even more funnier to me now. I don't know why the show only ran for 6 seasons. They could never do shows like this today.... this show All in the family and The Jeffersons viewers just how stupid stereotypes were. Sanford and son was my favorite... loved Redd Foxx!!! And in this show... jokes were about everyone... nobody is funnier than FREDDY... that's Fred G Sanford PERIOD

I am just trying to find a place where I can watch this show. And I do think Marty McFLY 1985's review was helpful... I never realized the big difference between Yorkshire and London... But I have noticed when watching some of the British shows... that there is a huge difference in accents and their slang words. I do enjoy and am always willing to try something new... its always easier when they are speaking English but I will give shows with subtitles a try too.. there have been times where I would have loved subtitles when watching a British show... even though we all speak english, sometimes I have a hard time with the accents and an even harder time with the slang.. and I am sure its that way for you guys watching shows from the US. Anyways, I am hoping to find a place to watch this show
