Im only a few weeks into my course, and I can't believe this is the textbook we are asked to read at a university level. This is like reading lord of the things, but without the enjoyment at the end of it. The content is poorly worded and convoluted, filler and fluff words all around. Some chapters literally tell you to "wear your seatbelt" (see pdf pg 176), and essentially infers that male translators are not capable of accurately conveying compassion and concern (see pdf pg 172) ... but thats just my two cents. Glad I was able to obtain the pdf for free because I would have been upset had I been required to pay for this text.
