I guess it isn't what I expected, but I blame that on myself for looking for things that are unrealistic. This is definitely a phenomenal movie I loved the artwork and the soundtrack they blended together amazingly. But if you're looking to find a movie to satisfy you I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. If you feel empty, or your looking to find something to relate to your emptiness then I'd recommend it. This isn't one of those happy anime movies where you're heart feels full at the end where everything fits together in just the right way and once you're done you look back at it and you feel amazing like that possibility of complete happiness or perfect romance is a possibility. This is more realistic, it leaves me feeling empty realizing that I've seen this happen before. That like the cherry blossoms moving at 5 centimeters per second we'll be too slow. We chase after things that are too far in front of us to ever catch up without ever realizing that we were never by their side. I guess no matter how beautiful you seem, you will get passed by.
