This movie started off painfully slow. Many times I would switch to a different show, but I was intrigued by the characters and what was to come. It may be the best (realistic) romantic movie I've ever seen. The dysfunction is run amuc and the comedic approach to family was perfectly sewn into the plot. Somehow I feel the director was toying with the audience and daring them to quit on it. Then boom it took off. This is a must see movie that has been hiding from me for years. One I will watch over and over again. If you like romance and do see a silver lining through the turmoil of life this one is for you.
