I gotta say this first season started off strong. The plot was beginning to develop, we were just getting to know the characters...but towards the end of the series it feels like the writers just gave up. There were episodes having nothing to do with the original plot, the characters acting abilities were deteriorating, and the plot line was pretty much nonexistent (it wasn’t until the last episode where they touched on their original plot line). *SPOILER* For example, the grandmother’s character just started to date Leland when all of a sudden they’re getting married? And the grandmother copied the map of the sigils just because Leland asked?? Nothing made any sense!! There was no cliffhanger at the end of the first series and I was totally disappointed...I wouldn’t really recommend watching this show....
