I am a fan of the original series however was looking forward to a reboot. I watched the new series and have to say as much as CGI is better now than when the original series first aired 20yrs ago I was let down by the new series. I had no quarms with the ethnicity of the girls, I even think it was more realistic in my mind for witches. What I didn't like was the "man hating" from the middle sister. Way over the top. The Whitelighter character is a tad pretentious. The youngest sister is so shallow in her bid to join a fraternity... cmon!! But what bugged me the most was the fact that they have so much make up on and are wearing designer clothes all the time. Too much like Pretty Little Liars. At least the original series the girls wore "normal casual" clothes and natural looking makeup.
