The movie was good but it bothered me that they wanted to alter the facts of the already existing story line. A remake of movie one but with changes in event time lines. So they skimmed over key items in the original movies to give you a sense of relation and then piled new groups and elements in your lap. I’m not 100% onboard with how this cast change has been directed. I would have rather seen a prequel to the original movies to change the characters possibly showing hellboy in his childhood followed by a ongoing story line to what’s been established already. How do you keep the same story but kill his dad two different ways? Is it the change or do we see a resurrection in the next movie to have him killed again by the next foes.
