Being an ardent fan of serial killer/crime shows and Fincher’s work, Mindhunter is yet another incredibly riveting show with a similar treatment to True Detectives. It engulfs you in the excellence of criminal profiling and the psychology behind it. Definitely recommend if you are googling “Shows similar to....”.

Came across The Killing when I was left wanting more after watching season 1 of True Detectives. And boy, it did not disappointment! This multilayered riveting crime drama series set in the melancholy Washington state backdrop grips you in right from the get go and leaves you wanting more, one episode after another - one season after another. The script, screenplay and original direction exposes the dark underbelly of crime and weaves a thread of extreme plausibility through a slow, deliberate nail biting plot.
