Sure its straight 2 video. And its been done before. But the inclusion of Cuba Gooding Jr & Dolph Lundgren as opposing protaginist lifts the movie a coupla rungs above your standard action fare. It's as if the writer, Derek Kolstad, creator of the "John Wick" franchise 2 years later, mixed the plots of "A Fistful of Dollars" with "Fulltime Killer". Granted, he didn't get the classic product both those movies seem to have become. Or, the skyrocketing success story he achieved with Keanu Reeves. Then again, he didn't co direct it, like his JW franchise, either. BUT, it is a satisfying action movie for "action heads"! You will not be disappointed if you're looking for lots n lots of expended bullets, explosions, non-stop action plot and 2 pretty good performances from Gooding and Lundgren, who seem to know the product they're making and decided to have fun with it anyway!! Pretty good afternoon shoot 'em up!!!
