I am not quite done reading this novel. I do understand the controversy surrounding the author and the subject of the horrible plight of the Mexican immigrants. However I am riveted by this book and my mind has opened even more to their plight so let’s thank the author for getting Americanos to read this book and think and change their minds and bearts towards our fellow human beings
