When will they learn that the drama in these space stories are man vs nature not wildly unprofessional emotional incompetent astronauts vs bickering amongst themselves. I forgave the Martian a lot because at least nearly all the drama was based in solving space problems. It’s such a bummer that they keep giving us these ridiculous astronaut characters that no one would send on these multi hundred billion dollar missions...there is enough that can go wrong in space, why keep making those problems lazy broad characterization.... Might as well be about space marines or set it far enough in the future that the bar to entry on space missions isn’t ta life dedicated to being a highly trained consummate professional. So overall I watched it because I’m a space nerd and I already paid for Netflix, but I’m leaving this critical review to make sure the internet knows that I didn’t like it...screaming into the void.
