The characters' dialogue was profoundly forced, unnatural and cardboard-like. It seemed as if the writers were trying way too hard to make them more dynamic. Though the movie had its occasional charms, the visual effects were stunning, and the music was quite something to consider, the dialogue and the cliche, nearly-predictable, suspense-less progression of the plot just left me feeling confused walking out of the theater.
Also, Elsa's (mild spoiler) new dress near the end was just screaming "this is going to be the hottest toy of the season!!" everywhere. They probably designed it JUST for that. Was really hoping for more effort from the writers other than "boo-hoo Anna has separation anxiety" and "what's this??? Olaf's OLD and dEePLy-ThInKiNg now????".
