It was a riveting start which established the characters and the conflict well. The acting was plausible and serviceable. However, it veered awkwardly off course when pontificating a moral standoff between the two central characters. The denouement and resolution seemed to suggest one of two things: the white lies that doctors tell to protect the emotional well-being of their patients is reprehensible; or powerful people are rarely held to account but they should be. Condescending on both accounts- ho hum.
